Biodiversity loss and impact on the financial sector, Zürich
The Liechtenstein Bankers Association has designed the series, «Deep-Dive» as a quarterly presentation and discussion round of current asset class themes.
Jetzt anmeldenThe global loss of biodiversity is not only an ecological risk, but also an economic one. Healthy ecosystems are essential for the stability of supply chains, food security and protection against natural disasters. This issue is also becoming increasingly relevant for financial centers such as Liechtenstein.
As an internationally networked financial sector, Liechtenstein shares responsibility for channeling capital into SDG-aligned projects. Through targeted investments, for example in nature-friendly companies and funds with a focus on biodiversity, the financial sector can actively contribute to the preservation of biodiversity.
