What is the role of the Financial Market Authority in Liechtenstein?
The Liechtenstein Financial Market Authority (FMA) is responsible for investor protection, the supervision of market participants and financial market stability. The FMA is part of the European supervisory authority, the ESMA (European Securities and Markets Authority), and therefore has the same rights and obligations as the other supervisory authorities in the EU.
