What is sustainable and responsible investing?

Share

An ever-increasing number of philanthropists are discovering a new way to do good. They are incorporating socially responsible or sustainable and responsible investing (SRI) into their activities. As a result, the traditional boundaries between profit-oriented investments on the one hand and the conventional understanding of donations and charitable foundations on the other are becoming increasingly blurred. This new understanding of philanthropy also takes into account sustainable and responsible investments that generate a positive return on capital. Socially responsible investing combines social and environmental impact with financial success, opening up new avenues of action for philanthropists and entrepreneurs. The new generation is increasingly using not only donations but also investments to make a positive difference.
