How does Liechtenstein ensure the adoption of EU digitalisation legislation?

Since 1 January 2022, the Office for Digital Innovation has been responsible for the adoption of European digitalisation legislation. To this end, it monitors the relevant legislative procedures at European level, represents Liechtenstein in the relevant EFTA and EU bodies, and coordinates national implementation in close cooperation with the relevant ministries and government departments.

The aim is to assess new European requirements at an early stage and to ensure their implementation is efficient, coherent and as practical as possible.
