How did Liechtenstein come to be a pioneer in the area of blockchain regulation?
The Liechtenstein financial centre actively promotes innovation and, in addition, has a regulator that recognised the potential of blockchain technology early on. Accordingly, Liechtenstein was the first country in the world to introduce a blockchain law (TVTG) in 2020 to create legal certainty for service providers and customers.
