Where is the Office for Digital Innovation headed?

The office is directly attached to the Ministry of General Government Affairs and Finance of the Government of the Principality of Liechtenstein. It operates at the interface between the state, the economy and society, and deals with technological developments that are of strategic, regulatory or economic relevance to Liechtenstein. These include, in particular, topics such as artificial intelligence, data regulation, blockchain, digital financial markets and other European legislation on digitalisation.

The aim is to understand new technologies at an early stage, assess their implications for Liechtenstein and support the government, the administration and relevant stakeholders in further developing innovation-friendly and reliable framework conditions.
