What does asset tokenisation mean?

Share

Asset tokenisation is the digital representation of assets on a blockchain. This involves a physical or digital asset (such as real estate, intellectual property, bonds, raw materials, works of art or company shares) being transferred to digital tokens that represent rights of ownership or shares in this asset. These tokens can subsequently be traded on digital platforms.
