How does the Innovation Impulse work?

The Innovation Impulse is a framework for structured dialogue between the government, the business sector and other relevant stakeholders. The aim is to discuss new technological developments and their implications at an early stage and to jointly assess whether existing regulatory frameworks should be further developed.

Companies, public authorities and other stakeholders can raise issues or identify areas where action is needed. The Office for Digital Innovation analyses these, develops possible solutions in collaboration with the relevant bodies and supports their implementation where appropriate.

The Innovation Impulse thus helps ensure that the region can continuously adapt to new technological and economic developments – in a forward-looking, practical manner and in dialogue with the stakeholders concerned.
