Insurance brokers need to be registered and are subject to supervision by the Liechtenstein Financial Market Authority (FMA).
The members of the Liechtenstein Insurance Brokers Association (LIBA, Verband Liechtensteinischer Versicherungsbroker) are insurance brokers working in and from Liechtenstein. They are subject to strict terms and conditions of membership, and when they are accepted, they undertake to comply with the professional standards for LIBA brokers as well as with the Code of Conduct.
