What makes Liechtenstein and its foundation law so special?
Since 1926, Liechtenstein’s liberal, innovative Law on Persons and Companies has provided a legally secure framework for dedicating assets to a specific purpose and preserving them for generations. Liechtenstein’s strengths, such as legal certainty and stability, form the foundation for client-oriented services.
Liechtenstein foundation law is characterised by the principle of founder freedom, which allows for a great deal of flexibility. This liberal approach makes Liechtenstein foundations an attractive instrument for a wide range of objectives, as it allows founders to exercise their private autonomy when establishing a foundation. Naturally, this is subject to the legal framework.
