Share

As a member of the European Economic Area (EEA), Liechtenstein has unrestricted access to the European single market and is obliged by international treaty to adopt EU regulations.

As a member of the EEA, Liechtenstein also complies with the EU regulations MiFID (Markets in Financial Instruments Directive) and UCITS (Undertakings for the Collective Investment in Transferable Securities) with regard to investor protection, which increase transparency of financial products.
